Chukwueze opens Serie A account as AC Milan beat Verona

Samuel Chukwueze scored his maiden Serie A goal as AC Milan defeated Hellas Verona 3-1 at the Stadio Marcantanio Bentegodi on Sunday afternoon.
Chukwueze started the game from the bench and took the place of Noah Okafor 14 minutes from time.
The Nigeria international thumped in a splendid volley through a crowd in the 79th minute.

The 24-year-old has made 17 league appearances for AC Milan this season.
The goal will come as relief for the winger, who has come under intense criticism following his arrival from LaLiga club, Villarreal, last summer.
AC Milan extended their lead over third placed Juventus to three points following the win.
